# Aluminum Braid

## Aluminum Braid Description

CVSIC Aluminum Braid (also known as Flexible Aluminum Connection Braid, Aluminum Cooling Braid, or Aluminum Foil Braid) is a specialized accessory for silicon carbide (SiC) heating elements, used to connect SiC elements to external power sources for efficient conductivity and heat dissipation. Made from multi-strand, high-conductivity fine aluminum wires combined with stainless steel, it offers flexibility, high-temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance, with a current capacity of 25-400A. Available in single-hole and double-hole designs to meet various wiring needs, it provides a dependable connection for industrial heating systems in high-temperature furnaces, electronic semiconductors, lithium batteries, and more.

## Ordering Information

When ordering Aluminum Braid, please provide the following parameters:

- **SiC Element Diameter**: Match the cold end diameter of the heating element

- **Rated Current**: 25/50/100/200/400A

- **Type**: Single or double-hole

- **Length**: Specific length (at least 25mm longer than the straight-line distance from the cold end to the busbar)

- **Example**: Single-hole aluminum braid, for 14mm diameter SiC element, 100A current, 200mm length

- *Note*: Customizable specifications (8-48 spindles, single or multi-layer braiding) based on customer requirements or samples.

## Aluminum Braid Connection Method

- **Installation Position**: The aluminum braid is fixed to the aluminum-coated cold end of the SiC heating element, connecting it to the external power source.

- **Connection Method**:

Secure the aluminum braid to the cold end with a steel clip and screw, and connect the other end to the busbar using an aluminum crimp.

- Ensure the length is at least 25mm longer than the straight-line distance from the cold end to the busbar to avoid mechanical stress.

- Adjust the aluminum braid before installation, tightening the screws evenly to prevent bending or external force on the element.

- Connect the busbar first, then attach to the SiC element one by one, ensuring good contact with connection end voltage
