# Mosi2 Heating Element Combination Straps

## Mosi2 heating element combination straps Description

CVSIC MoSi2 heating element combination connection strap (also called flexible aluminum connection strap or aluminum braid terminal strap) is a specialized accessory for Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements, crafted from highly conductive aluminum foil and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Supporting currents of 25-800A, with widths ranging from 8 to 50mm, thicknesses of 1-3.5mm, and single wire diameters of 0.15-3mm, lengths are customizable. Formed by braiding multiple aluminum wires, stretched, and flattened, it offers great flexibility, top-notch conductivity, and excellent heat dissipation. Great for high-temperature furnaces, testing gear, and industrial heating, it ensures stable connections between MoSi2 elements and power sources, offering high-temperature and corrosion resistance, as well as easy setup. In stock, made in China, and packed in cartons or export wooden crates.

## Ordering Information

When ordering MoSi2 heating element combination connection straps, please provide the following parameters:

- **MoSi2 Element Diameter**: Matches cold end diameter

- **Rated Current**: 25/50/100/200/400/800A

- **Length**: Specific length (at least 25mm longer than the straight-line distance from the cold end to the busbar)

- **Example**: Combination connection strap for 6/12mm MoSi2 element, 100A current, 200mm length, denoted as: Combination Connection Strap/6/12mm/100A/200mm

- *Note*: Custom specifications (8-48 strands, single or multi-layer braiding) are available upon customer request or submission of samples.

## Connection Method

- **Installation Position**: The combination connection strap is attached to the aluminum-coated cold end of the MoSi2 heating element, connecting to the external power source.

- **Connection Method**:

Use a stainless steel clip with screws (e.g., H/G/C-type clamp) to secure the connection strap to the MoSi2 cold end.

- Connect the other end to the busbar via an aluminum crimped terminal or stainless steel clip, ensuring the length is at least 25mm longer than the straight-line distance to avoid mechanical stress.

- Adjust the strap before installing, tightening the screws evenly to avoid bending the element.

- Ensure connection end voltage
